ABOUT AS:

BPP is one of the newest and at the same time one of the biggest industrial parks in Poland. The entire area of the park is situated in Bydgoszcz – the capital of the Kujawy and Pomerania Voivodship and the eighth biggest city in Poland.

On 22th of September 2003, an Intention Agreement pertaining to the establishment of the BPP was signed between:

  • the City of Bydgoszcz
  • Chemical Works ZACHEM S.A.
  • the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz
  • the Idustrial Development Agency in Warsaw

The entire surface of the Park approximates 280 hectares – the terrain formerly belonged to Chemical Works ZACHEM  S.A. In the spatial planning this area was registered as economic and services activity area. This is a post-industrial ground. In the future it can be expanded by attaching the estates of liquidated or restructured companies and the adjacent areas contributed by the Bydgoszcz Commune.

BPP’S MISSION

The mission of the BPP is stimulating the local entrepreneurship and attracting external investors and thus creating new jobs by offering investors favourable conditions for economic activity. It will be possible thanks to effective equity management and provision of infrastructure services and counselling services.

The anticipated results of the BPP’s mission:

  • elicitation of the local community in the region of Bydgoszcz and creation of new jobs
  • inflow of foreign investors, development of small and medium enterprises based on innovative technologies
  • development of the areas that formerly belonged to liquidated or restructured industrial plants
  • increase of Bydgoszcz’s social and economic potential
  • increase in the competitiveness of the region,
  • improvement of competitiveness due to lower operating expenses

  • improvement of the companies’ marketing image, support in the initial stage of companies’ functioning

  • efficient management of the equity vested in BPP and offering secondary services
  • enhancing the competitiveness of the companies functioning within the BPP
  • development of the infrastructure stimulating local and regional entrepreneurship
  • revival of the employment market, inspiring an economic boom in the local community by introducing entrepreneurship incubator within the BPP; gaining new employers and thus creating new fixed jobs
